Table Tennis Champions Win Alan Sherwood Cup

This is the Harris 'super four' who when out to compete at the 2019 Alan Sherwood Table Tennis Cup recently. It was the boys' first time playing in this tournament and what a performance. They all played with great passion for the game and demonstrated a high level of self-control over their emotional state, which enable them to remain calm and surprise all the other schools by finishing in first and third place, allowing them to bring home the Gold.

Well done to the 'super four' of Reo, Ronan, Malachi and Umair. The Year 8 Table Tennis team is led by Ronan who is very good at empowering is peers. For Malachi this is his second win as he also won on 12th April 2019 at Greenhouse Sports Centre, where he won Band C. Malachi is a Year 8 student, but at the moment he is the strongest player in the school. 

Well done boys! We're proud of you.
