Year 7 Boys' Football

Harris Invictus Academy Croydon v Harris City Academy Crystal Palace, 22nd October 2015

The year 7 football team came tantalising close to winning their first game of the season, against Harris Crystal Palace. With 5 minutes to go it looked as though Invictus would deservedly take all the points after coming back to be winning 2-1 with both goals scored by Tyler Hamilton. However Crystal Palace levelled the scores with a tremendous counter- attacking solo effort and then followed up with a deflected cross that looped agonisingly over our excellent goalkeeper Jake.

Even though Invictus lost 2-3, the team should be delighted with the effort shown by all of the players, and I am sure with the same level of commitment we should have a successful season.
