Future Croydon Art Competition
Recently, I selected some of our students’ work and entered them into the Future Croydon art competition, which was part of the annual Croydon Heritage Festival. All the Harris Invictus students did extremely well. Not only were several of the students’ work displayed in the Heritage Exhibition at the Whitgift Centre for the duration of the festival but two in particular were singled out for their excellent work. Tahlia Nash’s work was commended and I am delighted to announce that Alice Francis was chosen as the overall winner of the 18 years and under category for the Future Croydon art competition which is a tremendous achievement. The judges said they were extremely impressed with her entry. Well done to Alice, Tahlia and all the students who took part.
