Students at Harris Invictus Academy Croydon Celebrate Exam Success
Students at Harris Invictus Academy Croydon are today celebrating their GCSE results with almost 30% of Grades being awarded at the highest score of Grade 7-9, equivalent to an A or above.
Three-quarters of students achieved a Grade 4 or above in both English and maths and the proportion of students with GCSEs in every Ebacc subject – maths, English, science, a humanity and a language – is also very strong.
Congratulating the students and staff who have supported them, Lisa Kattenhorn, Principal of the Academy said:
“We are so very proud of our students at Harris Invictus for achieving these excellent results. Our students have shown genuine dedication and commitment over this academic year despite the challenges of the pandemic. So it has been lovely to share their joy today.
“Our students are amazing young people who have been fantastically resilient. They have grasped every opportunity to overcome adversity and have come out on top. We are looking forward to seeing them continue to achieve in sixth form and wish them every success!”
