Community Hub
Congratulations to Natasha Alston and Student Services who have set up the Invictus Family Support Program (IFSP).
The programme has been set up to give a wider range of care to our Invictus community.
Natasha proudly said ‘We believe in the power of community and the difference we can make when we come together for a common purpose’.
Events will feature workshops on Hygiene and Nutrition, allowing families to come together and participate in fun-filled activities once a month – cooking club started on Thursday 14 November 2024; and we will keep you updated with pictures and feedback
Experts in their field of work will provide sessions on cooking and how to prepare a healthy meal on a budget, as well as self-care sessions on the importance of hygiene.
Both lead to better health, confidence, and overall personal growth for our students and families.
We have reached out to Felix and local shop community to contribute to the IFSP and have so far have three shops willing to donate and Felix supports our food bank that we distribute every Monday.
Families have welcomed, and enjoying, the fresh produce we have been able to offer.
