Student Journalists Interview Year 7 About Starting School
We all know starting secondary school is a big step, so Invictus Scroll journalists Milan and Tamjid, both Year 8, interviewed two wonderful Year 7 students to hear their perspectives.
“Harris Invictus is fine; it’s a really good school. It’s weird taking our own bags and stationery everywhere. My primary was a lot smaller; we also had no computers and we had no science lab. It was scary to come here at first as I didn’t know any of the surroundings and I barely knew anyone. I like some teachers, they are okay, but some are… too strict! The thing I like about the school is the food, it tastes really good.” Bruno, Year 7
“The things that I like in this school is that we have an art room and a music room, unlike in my primary school. We also have loads of stairs and floors to climb too! Harris Invictus is a lot bigger than my primary. Some of the older students are nice too, like my sister's friends. I like how the school is spacious, you can talk to teachers. Also, I like the cafeteria and the library; I didn’t really have that at primary school. Secondary school is different to primary.â¯I wish we had lockers! Ruby, Year 7
