World Book Day on 5th March 2015.

Harris Invictus Academy Croydon celebrated its first World Book Day on 5thMarch 2015.

For Harris Invictus, it was, in fact, a week of celebration during which both teachers and students across the academy embraced the true meaning of reading and shared their reading experiences through a range of activities and competitions.

During the day, Teachers read the story of ‘The Monkey’s Paw’ by W.W. Jacobs to students in six installments. Students tasted the true essence of mystery as the events were gradually unfolded throughout the day. Some students described the experience as ‘exciting and mysterious’.
