Robotic Workshop on Monday March 10, 2025
I would like to express a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the Robotic Workshop on Monday 10 March 2025. We had some really good feedback from the students, they were really excited to use the robots donated to the school. Our visitors were impressed with the behaviours and the coding skills of the students. Special thanks to Alan Wallis, Hazel Hatch, and the Computing teachers for working together to make sure our visitors were well taking care and ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the day. I will share the professional video from the session and the interviews once they are available.
Feedback from one of our guests at the event:
‘Thank you so much, Shari, on behalf of my team. It has been an incredible experience to see all the volunteers and children planning, coding, and playing in unison.
I was very impressed by how well behaved all the children were, so well done to all the teachers. I really enjoyed the experience and appreciate your incredible support on the project. Without your coordination and input, we would have had a different outcome. So a big thanks to you for your help, and to the headteacher and all the other supporting teachers.
It's always heartwarming to know that what I do will have an impact. In this case, it's fantastic that we will have videos and photos that can help LetsLocalise spread their wings even further, giving more opportunities to other schools across the globe to learn new skills and futureproof the new generations.
Thanks again. Let's stay in touch.'
