Back my Business
On Wednesday 22nd May 2015 Year 7 took part in a workshop run by MyBnk called Back my Business. The aim of the day was to start thinking about a product they would like to develop with the help of MyBnk.
Throughout the day students attended different workshops that focused on aspects of business. Students learnt about USPs and target markets before being given the opportunity to put their new terminology into action in groups. At the end of the day ten groups were put through to the next stage of the workshop where they were will have to present their ideas to a panel of judges who will decide if their product will be created and sold at a market place held in school for the other students. This will all be done with the backing of MyBnk, a charity organisation set up to enable young people to gain a better understanding of personal finance and business.
Students all enjoyed the opportunity to work on their own ideas with the hope of seeing them being created.
