Harris Federation Sports Day Success

What a wonderful Harris Federation Sports Day we had! All of our Invictus students were amazing – both the athletes and spectators. It was a proud day for us all.

We had 20 Invictus Champions taking part in the day’s events, of which nine brought home medals. This is one more than last year, which is fantastic!

We had an additional four 4th place results so we were quite unlucky in a way not to get more medals! 

Medal results are as follows.

  • Dorell - Gold - 200m Year 10 boys’ race
  • Ayo - Gold - 100m Year 9 boys’ race
  • Jemima - Silver - 200m Year 10 girls’ race
  • Richard - Bronze - Year 9 High Jump
  • Krystian - Bronze - Year 9 Shot Put
  • Princess - Bronze - Year 8 High Jump
  • Tasheka - Bronze - Year 8 Discus
  • Paul - Bronze - Year 7 High Jump
  • Dorell/Ayo/Jesse/Jimi - Bronze - Year 10 Boys’ 4x100m race

The staff relay team also deserve a congratulations for putting in a really amazing effort and I think our students really got a buzz seeing the team give it a go.

A big thank you to all staff for making the day really special and to Coach Raymond, Coach Sutar and Mr Rahman for putting in countless hours training our athletes in preparation for Sports Day.
